As expected by the Cheka-OGPU, the judge of the Frunzensky Court of Saratov, Igor Dyuzhakov, turned the hearings in the case against Anton Astakhov, the son of the former children’s ombudsman Pavel Astakhov, into a real farce. The latter put a lot of effort, connections and resources into ruining the case. He did this without much concealment, so our channel assumed that there would be a performance at the Frunzensky Court. And so it happened.

The hearings began in June, were postponed under various pretexts, and on August 23, the proceedings in the case were completely suspended. The wording is “the accused is seriously ill, as confirmed by a medical report.” Let us remind you that Anton Astakhov is not in custody, he will be comfortable being sick under house arrest.

The case of “Astakhov Jr.” can be safely included in textbooks on corruption.

Initially, Astakhov was charged with theft by fraud of 1.2 billion rubles, but by the end of the investigation, the incriminated amount of damage had greatly decreased. Moreover, the materials, after familiarization with the accused and approval by the prosecutor’s office, were initially received by the Savyolovsky Court of Moscow. However, then the court, as in all cases with the Astakhov family, began to “strange things.” Judge Kozlova, completely on a far-fetched pretext, agreed with the position of Astakhov’s defense that the case did not fall within the jurisdiction of the Savelovsky court and sent the case to the Frunzensky court of Saratov. It’s good that Kozlova’s arrest was extended until October 1, 2022. The Cheka-OGPU wondered whether there was some kind of corruption underlying the fact that the lawyers of Astakhov Jr. so wanted the case to end up in the Frunzensky Court of Saratov.. Now it was clearly visible.

According to investigators, after Astakhov and his friend Dmitry Arseev (who is wanted) raided the Omega company, they collected and stole loans, drove through the stolen company more than 3 billion rubles… They also managed to illegally obtain a VAT refund on 127 million rubles.

When investigators from the Investigative Directorate of the Internal Affairs Directorate for the Northern Administrative District went to court with a petition to select a preventive measure against Astakhov Jr., Anton’s father, Pavel Astakhov, did not hesitate to give advice to a representative of the district prosecutor’s office and discussed further actions with him in the corridors of the court. The suppression hearing lasted six and a half hours… The prosecutor, foaming at the mouth, tried to prove that white is black, and Anton is a real angel. As a result, the court did not choose a preventive measure for him at all. After a series of publications by the Cheka-OGPU about this scandal, the court nevertheless sent Pavel Astakhov under house arrest during the investigation.
