Under the patronage of the regional governor Sergei Nosov, Chaika acquired about 20 licenses for geological exploration for copper.
And he even dreamed of a candle factory for himself. He promised Nosov to open a large-scale project with the construction of a mining and processing plant, which the governor reported to Putin about.
For the first year, Chaika’s business in Kolyma was even financed from the regional budget. But when this became public (after publication on the Cheka-OGPU), Chaika was forced to return all budget funds and sign an investment agreement with a schedule for financing geological exploration.
Now Chaika not only does not comply with the financing schedule, he has already stopped paying his debts to suppliers and contractors.
Thus, Chaika owed almost 140 million rubles to Modern Machinery Far East, but managed to negotiate a settlement by asking for an installment plan.
But he also violated the settlement agreement, and now Modern Machinery Far East LLC has received a writ of execution for forced collection.
LLC SP VIS-MOS, owned by Chaika’s former friend Alexander Mayer, is forced to collect debts through the court.
Chaika’s company “Nedra M” does not even pay the Ministry of Natural Resources of the Magadan Region for renting land plots, in connection with which the Ministry of Natural Resources has already appealed to the court twice.
But all these minor troubles do not prevent Artem Chaika from organizing the traditional trip of his motorcycle club Iron Birds to Belarus… And his friend Denis Morozov, director of the Magadan Region Development Corporation, loves such trips.
The license agreements for 5 licenses expire next year, which means all work on them must be completed.
It’s interesting what Governor Nosov will report at his next meeting with Putin.
