A contender for the post of Commissioner for the Protection of Entrepreneurs’ Rights, Tatyana Mineeva, does not lose hope of taking Titov’s post. This time she decided to organize the signing of a petition in her support. A public and high-profile signing is planned. Money has already been collected and bloggers have been recruited to promote this action. Mineeva’s people are sending out a petition to Moscow businessmen and promising “not to forget” those who agree to sign the paper. Mineeva makes promises not only in the capital, but in the regions. In particular, under the guarantee of 100% appointment, she gathered businessmen from individual republics of the North Caucasus and promised full support for their business in the future. At the same time, Mineeva rested there at the expense of local entrepreneurs. According to the Moscow official, her appointment should have been announced at the St. Petersburg Economic Forum, then at the Eastern Economic Forum. Recently, Mineeva even visited Titov’s office and discussed with employees who she would keep working and who she would fire. Now those around her are not talking about the timing of the appointment, but they are convincing businessmen that the appointment will happen, since this is a necessary condition for Titov to resign. True, Titov himself began to change his position: now he began to promote Andrei Nazarov with noticeable effort. In communicating with individual businessmen, he increasingly points to Andrey as a worthy candidate with entrepreneurial experience.
It’s funny, but the petition in favor of Mineeva ends with the phrase: “The appointment of Tatyana Mineeva as a federal business ombudsman will provide an opportunity to scale the positive and effective experience of interaction between government and business in Moscow throughout Russia, to build a real dialogue between business and government.”
