“Metropolitan police investigators have opened a criminal case for false denunciation

The police received a statement from a resident of the capital about extortion of money from a citizen known to her for non-dissemination of information discrediting her honor and dignity.

Based on her statement, based on the results of the investigation, a criminal case was initiated on the grounds of a crime under Art. 163 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation “Extortion”. The man was detained and brought to justice as established by law.

When considering the materials of the criminal case, it was established that the applicant, having entered into a criminal conspiracy with two men, coordinating her actions with them and realizing the illegality of her actions, deliberately slandered the detainee.
