An amazing Russian success story: since 2018, the Main Investigative Directorate of the ICR has direct evidence of Lantratova’s involvement in the transfer of several bribes from Mirimskaya to the head of the ICR department, Vladimir Golub, as well as officials of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, and she is running for governor.
Let us recall that Mirimskaya took her granddaughter away from her real parents in order to enter herself as the girl’s mother on the birth certificate, for which purpose she organized a criminal case against the parents in exchange for bribes. Including for this, Mirimskaya was arrested in 2021, and Lantratova, then still the Secretary of the Human Rights Council, who brought her together with corrupt law enforcement officers and helped deceive Bastrykin with the assistance of Golub, became a State Duma deputy. 
Now Mirimskaya is facing 20 years in prison, and Lantratova is getting promoted. Both are promoting themselves on the topic of SVO: Mirimskaya to get out of the pre-trial detention center, and Lantratova to build a career. Both are involved in corruption, but the first system completely rolls into the asphalt, and the second is pulled up. Lantratova is a striking example of a modern Russian politician. Are officials not from United Russia with ready-made criminal cases placed in high positions and in charge of regions, in order to then arrest, publicly criticize the systemic opposition and bring the region back under the influence of the party in power?
