The old prosecutor’s saying “the main thing in investigative actions is not to expose yourself” constantly finds its new heroes. Lately, especially often in the Moscow UEBiPK.

According to open sources, clouds have begun to gather over the deputy head of the Economic Security and Commissariat of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for Moscow, Colonel Ilgam Yusupov. The same one who mercilessly exposed financial crimes in his numerous interviews and press conferences with fiery headlines like “Blinding Income.”

This Colonel I.I. Yusupov is now suspected of corruption ties with the former captain of the Moscow Economic Security and Inspectorate Sergei Viktorovich Agulin, who was involved in cashing out illegally obtained funds.

Judging by media information, captain Agulin S.V. in narrow circles the personality is legendary. He scammed merchants who tried to cash out money through him. And also, having in production operational materials on businessmen who had committed tax crimes, he offered them to stop the operational investigation carried out against them, and at the same time, criminal cases.

The luxury of such communication, or, more simply put, patronage, according to Captain Agulin himself, was provided to him by the deputy head of the Economic Security and Commissariat of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for Moscow, Ilgam Yusupov. Agulin also liked to boast that it was thanks to him that Yusupov received the rank of colonel and with it a high-profile position.

The media were unable to calculate Agulin’s criminal income, admitting that it could amount to billions of rubles. But the illegal earnings of Colonel I.I. Yusupov was indicated quite specifically – 50 million rubles per month.

Judging by recently discovered open sources, the deputy head of the Economic Security and Inspectorate of Russia for Moscow invested part of this income in real estate. Otherwise, it is impossible to explain how the closest relatives of Colonel Ilgam Yusupov acquired apartments in Moscow, the Moscow region and Sochi worth more than 2 billion rubles.

Most likely, we will learn the answer to this housing question from official sources.
