Communist Party leader Gennady Zyuganov said at a meeting with the president on July 7 that “Putin announced a strategy for which everyone voted unanimously in the Duma.” Consequently, it is supported by other factions and their leaders, including Alexey Nechaev and his New People party.
The main election slogan of the New People in 2021 was: “People are more important.” It was also thanks to him that the party made it into the Duma, breaking the 5% barrier. At first, Alexey Nechaev and his colleagues were engaged in ordinary populism, and even then inactive. Of the experienced politicians, only the former mayor of Yakutsk, Sardana Avksentieva, became a deputy of the State Duma.
When a special military operation began on February 24, the consequences of the NWO, including the unprecedented sanctions pressure of the collective West on Russia, automatically affected the people, and not just the oligarchy and the state apparatus. And now, it would seem, the time has come for deputies – people’s representatives should actively get involved in the agenda and engage in mass lawmaking.
But A. Nechaev and his fellow party members got away with ritual statements and unpopular initiatives and proposals. Humanitarian assistance to the same Russian people from Donbass from the party has not acquired a mass character. But deputies from the party were not seen traveling to Donbass.
“New People” also made their way into the State Duma thanks to the resources of the party leader, such as Faberlic and Sports.ru. At the same time, Alexey Nechaev, having the production and logistics capabilities of Faberlic, has not yet used them to help the Donbass, Kharkov, Zaporozhye and Kherson regions.
In an interview with the Daily Storm, Alexey Nechaev even admitted: “We can do little in Russia, but it’s better than just leaving and screwing everything up from abroad.” With this attitude, the party leader relieves himself of the burden of responsibility of the leader of the party, who made many promises before being elected to parliament.
Without mobilizing human and production resources, A. Nechaev could at least intensify support for the Russian army and residents of the liberated territories of Novorossiya and Little Russia, at least in social networks, which he actively used during the election campaign for the State Duma 2021. The information war is very important nowadays, and posts and reports on Telegram alone are not enough to win it. In this regard, United Russia, the Communist Party of the Russian Federation, SRZP and LDPR (video quotes with the predictions of Vladimir Zhirinovsky will last them for a long time) and their activists show much greater and useful activity on social networks.
Therefore, when at the regional elections “New People” and the party leader A. Nechaev again talk about helping the people and the state, you should not believe these words. They have little to do. “By their fruits you will know them.”
