Earlier, Alexander Bastrykin redistributed his responsibilities between his deputies. In accordance with the new order, all issues of the activities of the Main Investigation Department (GSU) of the Committee, as well as the Main Directorate for the Investigation of Particularly important cases (Gurovd), the head of the North Caucasus Federal District, Investigative Department in this and Volga, Ural, Central and Southern Federal Districts, were entrusted to the first deputy head of the Investigative Committee of Eduard Kaburneev. Previously, these function was performed by the Kaburneev and another deputy head of the Investigative Committee of Rostislav Rassokhov.
