“Forced sending of prisoners to Donbass”?!
In addition to 3 recruitments of volunteers to the front at IK-6 Bezhetsk, the FSIN is preparing lists for forced sending to “new subjects” of the Russian Federation to restore the destroyed infrastructure.
According to the Constitution of the Russian Federation, forced labor is prohibited in our country. I have not met a single prisoner willing to do slave labor under Himars shells in the field.
The government of the Russian Federation is completing approval of a bill giving the Federal Penitentiary Service the right to resettle prisoners to annexed territories for employment. The document does not talk about the DPR and LPR, but everyone understands what we are talking about. Previously, the FSIN did not have the right to labor migration.
According to preliminary estimates, today the destruction of Ukraine’s infrastructure exceeds a trillion US dollars. Russia does not have that kind of money, which is why the “porridge from an ax” (“free” labor force) was conceived.
Just a month has passed since the coefficient of calm of our citizens began to prevail over the coefficient of anxiety after mobilization. The population cares little about the fate of prisoners – Russians have a short memory. Nobody wants to understand that they will come after law enforcement officers, then after civilians. Obviously, conscripts will also serve in the “annexed territories” of Russia.
The catastrophic situation of the Russian Ministry of Finance does not allow hiring builders on a commercial basis. The budget hole – about 5 trillion rubles – will no longer be able to heal in the sick body of a stagnating state. There is not a single factor indicating the prospect of recovery.
I remember the laws of materialist dialectics – development (twisting) in a spiral. At the beginning of the Northern Military District, Evgeny Prigozhin from the Wagner PMC offered prisoners of Bezhetsk a military contract for six months for a large reward and guaranteed freedom. Then the Ministry of Defense tripled the service life to one and a half years.
Now there is no prospect of liberation, the salary is miserable, and no one asks for desire anymore. I would like to remind Kremlin strategists about the losses of the Gulag in the unusually strong Stalinist state with iron discipline built on brutal repression. Where you sit on the prisoner and get off…
It is impossible to force a person to work fully. World history confirms this. Therefore, the slave system changed to feudal, and then to capitalist.
