The lawyer’s offices of the pre-trial detention center-1 in Tver are now open only until lunch for ordinary prisoners.
The second half of the day was given to investigators from the Tver Investigative Committee to speedily complete the investigation of the high-profile criminal case of the Streletsky organized crime group, in which 11 accused are being held in the detention center.
The key figure is the nephew of the former Chief Federal Inspector of the Presidential Administration for the Tver Region Oleg Streletsky. Both Streletskys were engaged in the construction business, using administrative resources and sometimes forceful pressure.
In January of this year, I was able to communicate in the Tver “central” with Oleg’s right hand, Vitaly Urbanovich.
This native of Belarus with an athletic build complained that his former friend Sergei Larenkov, nicknamed “Senya,” slandered him. Perhaps, wanting to help his patron – the leader of the Chechen diaspora in Tver, Khasan Taramov, who has a permanent conflict with the “streltsy”….
A week after the meeting with Urbanovich, I was transferred to IK-6, where I already heard confirmation of this from the former “red king” of the refugee zone, Sergei Larenkov: “He is no longer my friend. Senya looks good. He got a job as a bugor (supply manager) at a seamstress. “He has no plans to be recruited into the Wagner PMC.”
Of the 11 accused in this case, I am most interested in the ex-chief of the Tver prison, Dmitry Lebedev.
Unfortunately, the weak head of the Tver Investigative Committee, Albert Kizimov, is simply not able to provide a full investigation of such a high-profile case.
Also, the current head of the detention center, Alexey Kudryashov, comprehensively “protects” his ward-breadwinner.
Being the head of the Internal Affairs Directorate of the Federal Penitentiary Service, Kudryashov could not help but know about the torture and murders in the Rzhev colony, which were carried out with the personal participation of the sadist Lebedev…
….Lebedev has all the privileges. For example, in his cell in the “old woman” building there is an individual heater. It is not surprising that the episode with Lebedev’s murder of the convicted gypsy Arvamenko in IK-7 Rzhev was dropped from the criminal case. An exhumation was carried out at a cemetery in a Roma village near the city of Kimry, where broken ribs and many bruises were found on Avramenko’s body. However, investigators believed that this was the work of morgue workers during the autopsy. And the real cause of death is heart failure.
As of today, Lebedev has only the less serious articles 294 and 309 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation left in the charge.
The prospects for the release of the former head of the Tver prison as a result of a lenient sentence are close to 90%. The State Duma has considered a bill to mitigate the punishment of security forces for crimes committed.
