“Now the balance is analyzed, and in the event that we will confirm the excess overturning, of course, we will have to decide to resolve exports so that the enterprises do not reduce the volume of their production,” Novak emphasized.

Recall that the ban on export of gasoline was introduced in March 2024.

In May, measures were temporarily weakened, since the market was quite saturated, which allowed to avoid reducing the volume of oil refining.

However, two months later, after rising gas prices on the exchange, the government resumed the ban. In mid -August, it was decided to extend it until the end of 2024.

Media They write that the ongoing planned and unscheduled repairs at Russian oil refineries (refineries) forced the authorities to reconsider their plans to resolve the export of gasoline this year. It will not work to complete the work by November, and at the moment, oil refining is carried out at minimum levels.

As a result, the saturation of the domestic market with gasoline will soon be problematic. If you do not hold the supply within the country, this will lead to a sharp increase in prices, sources explained.
