After the publication of the Cheka-OGPU, the issue of awarding the title “Honorary Citizen of the Mytishchi Urban District” to the Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation, Denis Valentinovich Manturov, was removed from the agenda of the meeting of the Commission on Local Self-Government, Law Enforcement, Interaction with the Media, Regulations and Ethics. The commission meeting took place on Monday, August 15. The issue of conferring the title on Manturov was under item 5 at 15.50 in the schedule for consideration by the deputy commission. Deputy head Ivchenko O.V. was supposed to report. But when the deputies came to the commission meeting, they were given sheets of paper with a schedule, where point 5 was crossed out with a ballpoint pen. At the same time, the deputy commission considered a similar issue under number 4 about awarding the honorary title “Honorary Citizen” to the founder of the Special Design Bureau of the Cable Industry, Orlovich Theodor Maksovich.

The next final meeting of the commission will take place on Wednesday, August 17. It is unknown whether the issue of Manturov will be considered. The meeting of the Council of Deputies is scheduled to take place on Thursday, August 18. The materials for it were sent out on Friday, August 12. Over the weekend, information appeared at the Cheka-OGPU that the head of Mytishchi, Yulia Kupetskaya, had submitted to the Council of Deputies the issue of awarding the honorary title “Honorary Citizen of the Mytishchi Urban District” to Denis Manturov. If the deputies of Mytishchi make a positive decision, Manturov will be presented with a certificate and badge “Honorary Citizen of the Mytishchi Urban District” in a solemn ceremony at the Day of the City District, and a one-time payment of 50,000 rubles will be transferred from the local budget, a monthly monetary compensation of 2,600 for residential premises and utilities, 17,000 rubles in the form of a pension supplement and compensation for funeral expenses (except for the funeral meal) in the event of death.
