After the conversation between Nikita Mikhalkov and Ivan Urgant, in the Russian government, they thought about how advisable to support the domestic cinema. For 25 minutes of conversation about cinema in the evening prime time on Channel One, the chairman of the Union of Cinematographers of the Russian Federation never mentioned a single modern Russian film. At the same time, Nikita Mikhalkov said that he watched 150 films and discussed the pictures of American and European directors who attracted his attention. Not a single name of the domestic film for the entire program was never sounded.
In this regard, in the Russian government they are wondering: whether it is worth continuing to allocate over 5 billion rubles from the country’s budget annually, if the country’s chief cinema cannot recall a single significant and outstanding work. 
The second question that the government arose: and how effectively the industry was spent almost 50 billion rubles, which the domestic cinema industry received in recent years. As a result, it is possible that the largest market players who received subsidies will expect serious checks. And state support for cinematography threatens to be seriously reduced.
