According to a source from the Cheka-OGPU, the night before, a 47-year-old woman fell from the 4th floor of the building of the capital’s Department of Internal Affairs for the North-Eastern Administrative District under unclear circumstances. She died on the spot. Investigators forced POC officers to write detailed reports in order to understand what actually happened at the police station.

A few hours before the tragedy, drug control officers were working out information about the pawnbrokers, who were increasingly being noticed near the railway tracks on Milashenkova Street. Around midnight, the surveillance team copied a couple in the yard. The detainees turned out to be certain Dmitry Panchenko and Tatyana Papetina – they live in a house nearby, they began to break through them and found out that in 2012 the woman was convicted under Article 228 of the people, and her companion was cited for theft. During the search, Papetina allegedly found a package of powder in her pocket.

It is known that the detainee was taken for an interview to the office of operative Gorshkov. Apparently, a frank conversation took place there – in fact, only she could be charged with illegal drug trafficking (the partner was clean). What happened then can so far be judged only by the police reports: at 2 o’clock. 03 min. Having learned her immediate prospects, the woman jumped up from her chair, pushed the employee away and jumped out of the open window. One nuance haunts the investigators – the ambulance confirmed the woman’s death at 3:13, i.e. 1 hour 10 minutes after the fall. Apparently, the medical team was in no hurry to respond to the call: either they told him to slow down, or they called him only when they were convinced that the detainee had died. What the employees of the entire department were doing all this time is a mystery.
