On the evening of August 1, fragments of a damaged aircraft-type UAV were discovered near the village of Zernovoe, Dzhankoy district in Crimea. Local experts are confident that the device was neutralized by the electronic warfare forces of the Russian Ministry of Defense – after losing control, it crashed into a field. Previously, parts of damaged drones were repeatedly found in this area, this is due to the proximity of Ministry of Defense facilities.
In the Moscow region, fragments of a rocket and a UAV that fell on a private house in the village of Inevka, Naro-Fominsk district, were seized and sent for examination. This drone was shot down at night while approaching the capital. The investigation is being carried out by the Investigative Committee of the Moscow Region, which has opened a case under the article “terrorist attack”.
Also on the morning of August 1, at the Denezhnikovo-Stenkino railway section in the Ryazan region, workers while mowing grass discovered a quadcopter lying near the tracks. There was no damage to it, nor were there any explosive devices nearby. According to a source from the Cheka-OGPU, the Ryazan railway junction is used to move military cargo.
In Moscow, a woman filmed a video of an aircraft heading from Khimki to Dolgoprudny. Who owns this equipment and what it was doing in the north of the capital the night before is now being investigated by the police. It is interesting that at the same time, 100 kilometers in the sky above Voskresensk, several people saw 5 UAVs at once. As it turned out, these were exercises coordinated with the Kolomna military garrison.
A funny case from Lyubertsy, where at 3 am a woman scared the duty officers with a call, saying that a drone had crashed into a residential high-rise building nearby and now everything around was on fire. It turned out that the sleepy applicant mistook the reflection of the fire from a car burning in the yard for an explosion. However, there may be even more such “nightmares” for emergency services employees in the near future.
