“According to the information received at the Ministry of Defense of the Azerbaijan Republic from the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, on November 9, S.G. at 18:30, a Mi-24 military helicopter of the Russian Federation was shot down on the Nakhchyansky section of the Armenian-Azerbaijani state border.
In this regard, it is necessary to emphasize the following:
-The helicopter flight took place in the immediate vicinity of the Armenian-Azerbaijani state border, while in the zone of the Armenian-Azerbaijani Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, active combat clashes continue.
– The flight took place in the dark, at low altitude, outside the radar detection zone of air defense.
– The helicopters of the Air Force of the Russian Federation were not previously seen in the indicated area.
In the context of these factors and in the light of a tense situation in the region and increased combat readiness in connection with the possible provocations of the Armenian side, a duty of duty was decided to open fire to defeat.
