A source from the Cheka-OGPU told new details about the personality and life of former prisoner Yevgeny Nuzhin, who, judging by the published video, was exemplary executed. He himself took an active part in recruiting other prisoners to be sent to war.

Let us remind you that after being convicted, Nuzhin was recruited into the Wagner PMC and went to war with Ukraine. There he was captured and gave several interviews in the dungeons, stating that he initially went to the North Military District zone to cross to the opposite side. On the day when the exchange of prisoners of war took place, Nuzhin disappeared (according to the Cheka-OGPU, he was given to Prigozhin’s fighters as part of the exchange), and then a snuff video appeared that spread all over the world. At the same time, on the recording he himself says that he received a blow to the head in Kyiv, and woke up in the basement. The relatives of the murdered man claim that Evgeniy could not agree to return to the Russian Federation and blamed those who extradited him. In response to this, Nuzhin was remembered for his old pro-Russian pages on social networks.

According to the source, Evgeny Nuzhin ended up in a colony for former employees because he himself served in the Internal Troops of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation: before his arrest, he worked as a guard commander and guarded sensitive facilities. While in prison, Nuzhin was by no means a good boy. Having served almost 20 years for murder, he was one of the negative prisoners. In addition to the “red” tag (given to those prone to escape), which he “earned” after an escape attempt, until the beginning of 2022, Nuzhin was considered a persistent offender and sat in an isolated detachment for prisoners with strict detention conditions. When his fate softened, Nuzhin was placed in a regular detachment. Lately he had not worked in the camp and was considered not a completely healthy person. He did not behave very adequately and over the course of 20 years he had almost lost any interest in life in freedom. And after a visit to the IC by representatives of the Wagner PMC, Evgeniy, according to the source, actually “perked up.” He signed up for the PMC in the front row, and even openly began to persuade other prisoners to go fight.
