The cost of the devices, according to various sources, varied from 1.7 to 2.5 million rubles. Investigators suggest that more than 20 tablets were sold in just about a year. It was established that with the help of one of these computers, the car of Alexander Dugin and his daughter Daria was monitored before the car was blown up.
Thus, the monthly income of each member of the criminal group was more than a million rubles. According to the source of the Cheka-OGPU, the police “punchers” put their work on such a footing that in order to cope with demand, they hired a civilian who fulfilled the “orders” that came to their “store”. Employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, under various pretexts, brought a hired man from the street to the department, where they gave him access to an official computer so that he could search for data in databases and create a dossier.
Earlier, the Cheka-OGPU was the first to report a large-scale exposure of the “punchers.” Now there is a massive check among personnel for unmotivated access to citizens’ data.
