A source from the Cheka-OGPU spoke about the first results of the previously published fact of concealment by the largest machine-building enterprise in Russia, the Tikhvin Carriage Works, of the derailment of six cars on its territory; the material received a wide response and new details were revealed.
The owner of the damaged cars has become known – this is Transoil LLC. It has been established that the cars were not restored and were returned to the owner virtually without repair and are now dangerous for Russian Railways employees and passengers because could lead to a crash at any moment.
It also became known that the transport prosecutor’s office in April 2023, based on previous facts of violations, conducted an inspection of the Tikhvin Freight Car Building Plant and revealed a number of violations, in particular, that “repair work was carried out improperly.” As indicated on the website of the SZ Transport Prosecutor’s Office under Part 6 of Article 11.1 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation (violation of traffic safety rules and operation of railway transport), the Tikhvin Freight Car Building Plant was held liable in the form of a fine in the amount of 8 (eight!) thousand rubles. Violations have been eliminated! This suggests that supervisors are biased and corrupt.
In fact, it turns out that the violations have continued and it is easier for TVSZ to pay a fine in the amount of the average bill at a Moscow restaurant and further endanger people and passengers than to worry about safety issues and comply with the law.
The photo published by the Prosecutor’s Office shows the inspection of April 2023, in it the Director of the Titran-Express Depot D.A. Golubev. and chief engineer Petrov D.S. where these cars were fictitiously repaired. Both enterprises are part of the NPK UWC Holding.
