It all started with a statement from United Russia deputy, director of Tamerlan LLC Murat Abazekhov, who is also a relative of high-ranking police officer Nakhushev. Abakhezov asked the main anti-corruption fighter in the region to punish his business opponent in the city of Prokhladny, Stanislav Makhortov – they did not divide who and how to service energy facilities. As a result, Makhortov was tested so much that he was brought to criminal charges, and Colonel Timur Nakhushev allocated the entire resource of the department under his control, just to get even with his offender.
But the “answer” was not long in coming: the prosecutor’s office studied Makhortov’s criminal case, came to the conclusion that the materials were ordered, and that the initiator of the investigation, Colonel Nakhushev, had a personal interest in imprisoning his relative’s competitor. The case was closed and the information was transferred to the head of the Economic Security and Safety Inspectorate to the internal security department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. Surprisingly, no one heard any statements regarding the removal of the main anti-corruption fighter of the KBR for corruption. His name is still listed on the website.
