Currently, the construction of the underground part of the future museum quarter is progressing far behind schedule. Thus, when pouring concrete for the restoration center, the underground passage and the underground part of the “house of text”, the builders significantly deviated from the design standards and halved the thickness of the load-bearing concrete beams, hiding this with finishing work, which in the future could lead to the complete collapse of the structures being built. This decision, of course, was not agreed upon with anyone and the builders were forced to accept it due to lack of money. Billions of dollars in budgets allocated for the construction of new buildings of the Pushkin Museum are successfully stolen every time. Now over 20 billion rubles have already been spent, and the whole thing is still there. Not so long ago, the deadlines for the delivery of buildings on Volkhonka were missed; it is planned to locate the offices of the museum there. Instead, losses amounted to more than 100 million rubles and an increase in the construction budget.
Now the logic behind the appointment of Elizaveta Likhacheva, a woman with a very “murky” past, to the post of director of the Pushkin Museum, who back in the mid-2000s was expelled from her post by the Ministry of Internal Affairs for providing a fake diploma of higher education and financial abuses, becomes clear.
Now one of the leading museums in Russia, which is conducting global construction with a budget of billions, is led by Likhacheva. Manages and has the right of decisive signature on the distribution of funds for the construction and reconstruction of the museum and the acceptance of construction projects. On which subsequently all violations and thefts committed during the construction of the Museum Town can and will be blamed and written off.
