Recently, Elena Gavrilova contacted the Department of Internal Affairs in the Gagarinsky district of Moscow. A mother of many children (single according to documents) reported that in the summer of 2021 she hired a home teacher for her 10-year-old son. The governess Olga Tyabut was recommended to her by friends from a top recruitment agency, but the company did not participate in the registration, the women agreed past the cash register. The duties of the new employee included child care and educational activities. After some time, Gavrilov Jr. began to complain about violence from the governess and his parents installed cameras in the apartment. The recordings confirmed that the teacher was using far from pedagogical methods: Olga could easily slap the general’s son in the face or throw the boy to the floor. They pointed this out to the governess, but at the family council they decided not to drive her away for now, but to wait for Elena to return home from the hospital (she had a planned hospitalization in early November). During her absence, Gavrilova left the children 500 thousand rubles. The owner was gone for less than a week, and when she returned, she discovered that the money was missing. The children said that during this time they spent only 10 thousand rubles (the son bought himself a quadcopter). Over the phone, Olga admitted that she had taken the rest, but was not going to give it back. The police have already opened a criminal case under the article of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation “Theft”, but, most likely, the governess will also be held accountable for torture.
