A source from the Cheka-OGPU told about a funny story about the military who abandoned a KamAZ truck filled to the brim with weapons in the Moscow region. The commandant’s office of the Moscow region detained soldiers who were tasked with driving a truck with ammunition from Rybinsk to the Kherson region. Privates Andrei Nosov and Alexey Osipov decided to combine a combat mission with civilian recreation. Having received the keys to the Kamaz truck, an order from the command, and having agreed on the route, the first thing the soldiers did was not go to the front to help their comrades with ammunition and mortars, but home to Podolsk. The servicemen abandoned the car, filled to the brim with boxes of shells and machine gun horns, in the middle of the street and went about their business. Local residents reported that there was a suspicious truck on Yunykh Lenintsev Avenue – the police immediately arrived at the address, followed by representatives of the commandant’s office. By the time the emergency services had cordoned off half the yard, a sleepy private Osipov came out to meet the employees and began to explain that he “parked” the KamAZ in the middle of the city with the permission of the commanders, he and his colleague did not steal the car, but decided to simply turn off the route so that see relatives. It seems that Osipova and Nosov will not be able to see their loved ones next time soon – both were detained. The question is being decided as to who the military couriers will go to Kherson – as before, as ammunition deliverers, or as stormtroopers who have been at fault.
