Muscovite Olga Davydova contacted the police and said that under the cover of darkness, someone tried to set her Ford on fire. The woman has been working as a swimming instructor for a long time, but without hesitation she suggested why she could get revenge in this way. Davydov associates the arson of a foreign car with the activities of her late husband, the father of her children, Colonel General Vladimir Mamaev. A prominent public figure who created the “Anti-Corruption Commission” spent many years “exposing” politicians, officials and businessmen, whom he called “golden toilets.” He sharply criticized Medvedev and Putin, participated in “investigations” related to road construction, waste in Spetsstroy and much more. Also in his speeches, the general stated that he personally attended the funeral of President Putin, after which a double was allowed to govern the country. However, this theory quickly died out, and Mamaev himself was called a “mummer”, his activities were called ordinary extortion. He died in 2015, but for some time the structure of the Commission continued to operate according to the principles established by the general. Probably, the ghosts of the past decided to remind Mamaev’s widow, who also helped her husband in his “investigations,” about themselves.
