A source from the Cheka-OGPU said that the head of the control department of the presidential administration of the Russian Federation, Maxim Baranov, became a victim of phishing sites. The man transferred 128 thousand rubles to the scammers, and when he realized that he had been scammed, he contacted the police.

Baranov really wanted to relax and have fun in the Moscow region. To do this, I scoured the Internet and came across an excellent offer for a park hotel in the Ruza district. 2 nights in the most standard room there cost from 44 thousand, but, apparently, an employee of the presidential administration wanted to relax according to his status and booked the most expensive all-inclusive suite on the website. Administrator Ekaterina immediately called him back and stated that he needed to pay by transfer to a bank card. In anticipation of the upcoming vacation, Maxim Baranov obediently entered the data and deposited money, but he never received any confirmation of the reservation. The realization came soon – the official quickly found the real website of the park hotel, called the numbers listed there, and, having heard the answers from the dispatcher of the real recreation center, realized that he had fallen into the bait of scammers. By the way, there is nothing surprising – the search engine returns at least 4 different sites if you type in the name of the park hotel. The head of the control department of the AP, apparently, needs to take control of this.
