A source from the Cheka-OGPU said that FSO officers guarding the Kremlin and the Lenin Mausoleum knew about the impending attack at least an hour before the first strike on Moscow City. According to the source, at approximately 2:20 am the special services began to notify the duty units of the capital that they needed to prepare for the next meeting of the “guests”. The special message stated that three UAVs were discovered in the Kaluga area, 120 kilometers from the metropolis, and the estimated flight time was about one hour.

As previously reported, one of the drones was shot down by air defense forces in the Odintsovo district – yesterday, 54 messages were recorded from residents of the Moscow region who saw the UAV. Two more managed to slip through the defense line and were noticed already on approach to the high-rise buildings on Presnenskaya Embankment. Public transport drivers reported that skyscrapers were being attacked.

The first strike at 3:15 a.m. hit the office of the Ministry of Digital Development. The area of damage is more than 500 sq.m. 36 minutes later, the second drone crashed into OKO-2 – more than 450 sq.m. were destroyed. The blast waves hit nearby high-rise buildings. A total of 188 double-glazed windows were broken.

Already during the day, reports of unidentified aircraft continued to arrive at Moscow duty stations. The message of police driver Andrei Romanenko deserves special attention, who said that after service at about 10 a.m. in the area of Dmitrovskoye Highway, he saw an organized wedge of triangular UAVs with wings – 5 of them were moving at an altitude of 4 kilometers to the center. It was never possible to establish what kind of drones they were, but the impressionable applicant’s colleagues took him home to sleep.
