A source from the Cheka-OGPU said that a meeting of thieves in law was held in Poland, the main goal of which was to reconcile the kingpin Tariel Oniani (Taro) and his handlers – Varlam Kukhianidze (Vatia) and Mindia Goradze (Lavasogly). Reconciliation took place, but for Oniani it left a bitter aftertaste. In the year since Vatiya beat Taro, the latter was unable to do anything with the offenders and, in order to save face, and at the same time resolve at least one of his many conflicts with other thieves, he was forced to look for ways to organize such a gathering.
As the Cheka_OGPU said, in April 2022, in a restaurant in Montenegro, Kukhianidze approached the master of the underworld Taro with all respect. However, a conflict occurred in the presence of thief in law Mindia Goradze.
