So, at the last interrogation of Polyakov, they were interested in his relationship with the administrator of the telegram channel “Hell Grandmothers,” journalist Alexandra Bayazitova and PR woman Olga Arkharova (they were recently sentenced on a fabricated case to five years and four and a half years). But the most interesting thing is that Polyakov was asked separately about his relationship with the leader of the New Russia movement, major political strategist Nikita Isaev, who died under very strange circumstances (suspicion that he was poisoned) on November 16, 2019. As it turned out after his death, Nikita Isaev created a large network of anonymous successful telegram channels. He sold some during his lifetime, but most ended up in other hands after his death.

According to the source of the Cheka-OGP, Polyakov does not say anything about specific persons, saying the same thing to all questions. He was the administrator of the leading channels, and acted in this status in agreement with the Administration of the President of the Russian Federation and ran the channels, coordinating his activities with the Administration of the Russian Federation. As an administrator, he dealt with PR agencies, posted posts on a paid basis, but he himself did not deal with clients, and never set up any blocks.

According to the source of the Cheka-OGPU, such issues and the activities of the investigation may be related to the fact that in December 2023, Putin actually publicly criticized the emerging practice of accusing journalists of extortion using the example of the criminal case of Arkharova and Bayazitova. Now investigators of the Main Investigation Department of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for Moscow are looking for ways to justify themselves for this and other cases, trying to find new incriminating evidence and new reasons for accusing these people.
