A source from the Cheka-OGPU reported on the mysterious death of 37-year-old senior detective officer of the Main Directorate of Internal Affairs of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Viktor Vyshtykaylo in Solnechnogorsk near Moscow. The other day, a hereditary security officer (his father, after being transferred to the reserve, became famous for raising seven adopted children) was admitted to the hospital in an inadequate condition. He was tormented by severe headaches and cramps, and in the institution itself he behaved strangely and refused to eat. Last evening, the policeman, along with other patients, was in the ward of the therapeutic department, located on the 7th floor of the building. At some point, the man found himself at a window that was open for ventilation, tried to sit down on the windowsill, and, as the neighbors said, his hand slipped unsuccessfully and he fell into the window opening. Vyshtykaylo’s colleagues and Investigative Committee investigators are checking information about suicide, not an accident. It is possible that the tragedy is connected with another high-profile case – at the end of May we were the first to talk about the detention of two lieutenant colonels of the Main Directorate for Internal Affairs of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Oleg Nachin and Sergei Pakhomov. They both come from Solnechnogorsk. High-ranking fighters against drug trafficking were accused of selling two kilograms of hashish and amphetamine.
