A source from the Cheka-OGPU reported that two owners of copters were detained in Moscow over the past 24 hours. One of the men, a citizen of the Republic of Belarus, was placing his UAVs in a bag while near the Church of Mary Magdalene on Kolodezny Lane. Vigilant believers and beggars were confused by this activity, and they called the police. Later, the Belarusian told the patrol officers that he needed the copters (Mavic AIR29 and Mavic mini) for use in the military air defense. Despite the spiritual impulse of the volunteer, the police conduct checks and study CCTV cameras.

Another case, according to the source, was recorded in South Medvedkovo. There, a 22-year-old guy was detained who was flying a quadcopter between houses on Polyarnaya Street. An administrative document was compiled against him; according to the detainee, the flights over high-rise buildings are related to his work – he is engaged in filming new buildings.

Also in the Krasnoselsky district of the capital, an employee of a management company found a copter under the windows of a house on Spartakovsky Lane. The UAV was lying on the lawn near the medical clinic; no suspicious objects were found near it. The police are now investigating who launched the device and why.
