A source from the Cheka-OGPU reported another suicide of an Interior Ministry employee. This time, on October 24, a local police officer from the village of Perelub, in the Saratov region, pulled the trigger of his service pistol. Previously, a boy died in this village, the story received a federal resonance, Bastrykin took control of the situation and they decided to make the district police officer Safiullov the last.

It is known that 35-year-old lieutenant Ruslan Safiullov has served in the authorities since 2009, and was transferred to his last position just a couple of months ago, in August. Most likely, this is the reason for the tragedy: the employee was single and had no other problems other than his job. And the problems could have been oh so serious on the scale of the Perelyubsky district.

In September, a federal emergency occurred in the village. On September 9, an eight-year-old boy fell into a cesspool and choked on feces. After a resonance in the media, the Investigative Committee opened a case under Art. 109 – causing death by negligence due to failure to fulfill professional duties. The district police officer, who “should have known what was on his territory,” could also be blamed. They say that recently Safiullov was hinted about future problems not only in his service.
