A series of corruption revelations in Kazakhstan reached the very inner circle of Nursultan Nazarbayev.

The Cheka-OGPU had documents from the customs of Kazakhstan at its disposal. It follows from them that during the unrest in the country, the family of Nursultan Nazarbayev traveled to Kyrgyzstan. At least this was definitely done by Elbasy’s brother Bolat using a diplomatic passport.
