A fugitive banker, ex-owner of the International Bank of St. Petersburg, ex-Senator Bazhanov, unsuccessfully disputed the order of the Central Bank of the Russian Federation in arbitration courts to recall a license to perform banking operations in connection with a hole in his bank in the amount of 13 billion rubles. The Supreme Court refused him to accept the supervisory appeal.
The very story of Bazhanov, as we wrote earlier, is very curious. So, a year and a half ago it turned out that Bazhanov served in the KGB of the USSR, and then rose to the lieutenant colonel already in the FSB of the Russian Federation. This explains a lot why Bazhanov feels so confident in St. Petersburg so confident. So, the deputy chairman of the St. Petersburg Arbitration Court Butkevich has been considering the bankruptcy case of the bank for two years and occupies an exclusively probazhanov position, which all attempts by the DIA are defeated. And on December 22, Butkevich plans to satisfy Bazhanov’s statement about the settlement of disagreements with the DIA, as a result, our banker (the only one of its kind) will receive several hundred million rubles from the competitive mass of his own bankrupt bank, more than $ 100 million from which Bazhanov’s offshores associated with them are accused.
