Investigators are checking the entire Lyudinovsky Ministry of Internal Affairs in the Kaluga region.
The story of one 300-gram bag of hashish began back in 2018. Then police in the city of Lyudinovo seized drugs from suspect Stepanov during a search. As expected, they were sent to the ECC. And then the hashish went to the head of the investigative department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in Bryansk. This is because it was in this region that the test material on the heated Stepanov was initially registered. After the drugs were sent from the Kaluga region to Bryansk, no one saw them again. The case was transferred many times to different investigators, and only now, 4 years later, the investigators found out that there was no material evidence in the criminal case for a long time. No one knows where and when they disappeared.
They decided to carry out an investigation specifically against the police officers from the Kaluga region who seized the hashish.
Imagine the surprise of the investigators when they found out that the drugs seized from at least two more criminal cases were missing from the Lyudinovsky Moscow Ministry of Internal Affairs. The identities of the police officers who lost or misappropriated the substances are now being clarified.
