A new turn in the struggle for the inheritance of the 72-year-old billionaire Oleg Burlakov, who died in June from coronavirus. The husband of his native sister of the billionaire Nikolai Kazakov (a married couple in the photo), who worked as an assistant to the oligarch, said that he owned 50% in all billionaire businesses, and the Swiss company Leo Trust, which managed the assets of the Burlakovs, should be several billion dollars to him. The basis for this was a loan agreement for 1.3 billion dollars at a rate of 7.5% per annum, allegedly concluded in 2007. It turned out that the document retroactively forged Burlakov himself in order to withdraw his assets from the divorce proceedings with his wife Lyudmila, who, after 49 years of marriage, began at the end of 2019 because of her husband’s treason. The fake was noticed by an employee of Leo Trust – in the contract, the address of one of the companies involved in the transaction simply did not exist on the specified date. A criminal investigation is underway against Leo Trust in Switzerland. A similar fake was the will of Burlakov, found in Monaco, where on a piece of paper he allegedly wrote everything to Kazakov. The “billionaire” of the Cossacks and his wife lives on the outskirts of St. Petersburg in a small apartment, move in an old Toyota and travel with an economy class. It is expected that he can soon become a defendant in a criminal case.
