The businessman is involved in a criminal case initiated against Anatoly Erkulov, who withdrew about 2 billion rubles through RusBioAlliance, planned for the construction of a rhythmic gymnastics palace named after Alina Kabaeva.
However, Pomelov warmed his hands not only in rhythmic gymnastics, but also in logging, where he has been a major player for a long time. This was probably the reason for the FSB’s interest.
Until 2020, Pomelov was a co-founder of Industry LLC. The main activity of the company was cutting forest clearings and constructing track roads in Karelia. In the company, Pomelov still remains a shadow manager along with official managers
In March 2021, the company unexpectedly changed its place of registration to the city of Vidnoye in the Moscow region. Since that time, “Industry” begins to file and successfully win highly controversial, unfounded cases against its customers in the Arbitration Court. In contracts, a multiple increase in cost appears for previously completed, activated and paid work. In some claims, the amount of the contracts was doubled.
The machination is not very inventive, but it does give rise to a closer look at Pomelov’s inner circle. If the security forces start cutting down this forest, the chips will fly far.
