Custom business about rape against the owner of the Bashkir Roofing Plant, Alexander Kiselyov, has reached a new level. The first instance acquitted the businessman twice, the Supreme Court of Bashkortostan twice demanded to reconsider the case, sewn with white thread. Judge for yourself: the victims change their testimony over and over again, and the case falls apart – the businessman allegedly raped women in a car that he had not yet bought at that time, and even had relations with them while being thousands of kilometers abroad.

The latter is understandable if we consider that Kiselyov’s stormy sex life is a fantasy of his ex-wife’s relatives (the Romanovs), who are trying to squeeze his business out of him. Seven years ago, an entrepreneur learned that his lawyer illegally re-registered the premises to the Romanov family, and did not sell it, but re-registered it because the Romanov family did not have that kind of money and they carried out a series of re-registrations in a few days. The businessman’s successes in civil courts to get his business back ended in a high-profile rape case.

The servants of Themis, who a priori must remain unbiased, cleverly chose a side in this matter. And law enforcement agencies – supposedly fighters for justice – cannot defend the letter of the law in a case with erotic overtones, embarrassed by the mass hysteria around such articles of the Criminal Code. As a result, this is an example where the justice system becomes a weapon in very unclean hands.

According to our reading of the RAPSI agency’s material, this case clearly shows how the pendulum of justice moves from justice to an accusatory bias.
