A criminal case was sent to the court against the Magomedov brothers accused of embezzlement of more than 11 billion rubles

The Prosecutor General of the Russian Federation approved the indictment in the criminal case against Ziyavudin and Magomed Magomedovs, as well as four of their accomplices. They are accused of committing crimes under Part 1 and Part 3 of Art. 210 of the Criminal Code (organization of the criminal community and participation in it), part 4 of Art. 159 of the Criminal Code (fraud) and part 4 of Art. 160 of the Criminal Code (embezzlement).

According to the investigation, no later than 2010, the Magomedov brothers, striving for illegal enrichment by theft of budget funds and property of commercial organizations, created a criminal community in Moscow. The authorities of the brothers – Eldar Nagalov and David Kaplan, who determined the circle of direct participants in a criminal organization in the amount of more than 15 people were involved in its composition for the role of the heads of structural units, more than 15 people.

The Magomedovs used the legal entities that are part of the holding of LLC Group Summies as a material base of the criminal community.

From 2010 to 2016, the indicated persons under concluded with the companies controlled by the company and contracts were stolen by more than 11 billion rubles.

The Prosecutor General of Russia in the interests of the Russian Federation filed a civil lawsuit for the recovery of damage caused to the state from the Magomedovs in the amount of more than 5.8 billion rubles. The rest of the damage during the investigation of the criminal case shall claims by representatives of the victims.

The criminal case was sent for consideration to the Basmanny District Court of Moscow.

The investigation against the accomplices of the Magomedovs who are on the international wanted list continues the Investigative Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia.
