The Deputy Prosecutor General of the Russian Federation approved the indictment in the criminal case against former members of the Taganskaya criminal group Grigory Rabinovich, Igor Zhirnokleev, Oleg Rusanov, Boris Tretyak, Dmitry Yukhnevich, Igor Balashov, German Grishin, Genady Shcherbakov, Sergey Shcherbakov, Sergey Schukarev and Schukarev and Schukarev and Schukarev and Schucharev and Marat Yangbukhtina. They are accused of committing the crimes under Part 2 of Art. 209, part 2 of Art. 210, p.p. “A”, “c”, “d”, “g”, “h” of part 2 of article 105, p. “A” part 3 of Art. 126, P.P. “A”, “B” of Part 3 of Art. 163, P.P. “A”, “B” of Part 3 of Art. 161, p. “A” part 4 of Art. 158, part 4 of Art. 159.2, part 3 of Art. 222, part 3 of Art. 222.1, part 3 of Art. 223, part 3 of Art. 223.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (participation in an armed gang and the criminal community, the murder of more than two persons under aggravating circumstances, committed in an organized group, from selfish motives, abduction of a person, theft, robbery and extortion of other people’s property, fraud for receiving payments, as well as illegal turnover of weapons, ammunition, explosive devices and explosives).
According to the investigation, no later than 1991, Igor Zhirnokleev, Alexander Graber and Igor Shilov created a criminal community, in which Rabinovich, Malinovsky, Rusanov, Tretyak, Yukhnevich, Yukhnevich, Shcherbakov, Lukyanov, Balashov and Schukarev were involved.
Zhirnokleev and Rabinovich created separate structural units with specific functional responsibilities, a direct vertical of subordination, a clear discipline and an internal routine. At the same time, they developed general plans for illegal activities, coordinated members of the criminal community among themselves and other criminal groups, organized the material and technical support and armed forces of accomplices, and distributed financial resources between accomplices for specific crimes.
According to the allotted roles, Rusanov, Tretyak and Yukhnevich involved new persons into the criminal community, coordinated their activities, received money from entrepreneurs and legal entities for providing criminal patronage and protection. At the same time, the indicated persons, as well as on Yanbukhtin and Schukarev, were assigned the functions of the execution of most murders and other crimes, concealing traces.
Malinovsky and Yukhnevich coordinated the actions of the accomplices, including Shcherbakov, Lukyanov, Balashov, who carried out external monitoring of the victims, routes of their movement, developed ways for criminals after committing crimes.
An office was rented at the expense of the accomplices at the Bashnya 2000 business center in Moscow, where meetings were held between members of the criminal group and their leaders.
Attackers used technical means to track the location of the victims, listening to their dwellings and telephone conversations, and penetration into various rooms. Grenadiers, grenades, machine guns, pistols, rifles, revolvers and other weapons that were used in the commission of crimes were illegally acquired.
So, in 2003-2017, in Moscow, accomplices at the guidance of Zhirokhokleev and Rabinovich, together with other members of the community, participated in the murder of Vladimir Roshchi on the Enthusiasts highway, the abduction and murder of Sergei Skornyakov on Zelenodolskaya Street, the murder of the director of Rospishcheprom Valery Zhuravlev on Novochermushkinskaya Street, the murder of a lawyer OJSC “MASTOMAG“ Moscow ”Andrei Bralyuk on Yelninskaya Street, the murder of Armen Avanesov, whose body was found on Lublinskaya Street, the murder of a lawyer Natalia Vavinina on Altufevskoye Shosse, as well as in the abduction, robbery and murder of entrepreneur Alexei Pokrovsky, taking place in the Yaroslavl and Moscow regions.
