Investigators of the central apparatus of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation were accepted for production and an investigation of a criminal case on illegal hunting in the Lysogorsky district of the Saratov region (paragraph “a” of part 1 of article 258 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation).
It was established that at night on October 29, 2021 in an open area of the terrain four kilometers from the river. The bald mountains in violation of the current legislation and without obtaining the appropriate permission to extract hunting resources, illegal extraction of one individual of a wild animal – an elk was committed. During the investigative actions near the place of cutting of the carcass, two covers from hunting weapons were seized. In one of them was a hunting carbine with a sight of a night vision, and in the second – a tripod and cartridges, as well as a hunting ticket and permission to store this weapon in the name of Valery Rashkin. In addition, in the same territory, shot bullets and a sleeve were seized, the belonging of which is established. Carabiner, bullet and sleeve are aimed at examination.
Investigators continue interrogations of witnesses confirming the presence of Valery Rashkin and Alexander Gnoshev in the area of the scene. The knife, ax and other items from the car in which two of these persons were found are recognized as material evidence and are also sent for forensic examinations. Videos are investigated.
Investigators will restore the circumstances of illegal hunting in detail, and the persons involved in it will give a legal assessment in accordance with the requirements of the current legislation.
