Zamoskvoretsky District Court of Moscow issued a sentence in a criminal case against one of the defendants in a criminal case against the former employee of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia Dmitry Zakharchenko – Ivan Kozhevnikov. He was convicted of committing a crime under Part 1 of Art. 303 of the Criminal Code (falsification of evidence).
The criminal case was instituted on the materials of the audit of the Prosecutor General of the Russian Federation, which was carried out on the basis of information received during the consideration by the Gagarinsky district court of Moscow, the Distance of the Deputy Prosecutor General of the Russian Federation on the appeal of the property of the FSB officer Dmitry Senin, the accomplice of Zakharchenko, as well as the controlled persons.
It was established that at the request of Senin, a significant number of real estate were registered in the name of Kozhevnikov, in connection with which he was attracted as a co -shaper. However, the attacker decided to mislead the court regarding the validity of the position of the prosecutor’s office. As a confirmation of the possibility of acquiring disputed property, Kozhevnikov introduced documents containing false information, including a loan agreement in the amount of 185 million rubles, to the materials of the civil case.
Having examined the collected materials, the Gagarinsky District Court recognized the evidence submitted by Kozhevnikov inaccurate and completely satisfied the claims of the General Prosecutor’s Office of the Russian Federation.
During the court investigation in this criminal case, Kozhevniks did not admit the blame for the crime, denied friendly relations with Senin, explained that the documents submitted on February 5, 2019 at the hearing in the Gagarinsky District Court of Moscow during the consideration of a civil case are reliable and correspond to the dates that they indicate.
Given the position of the state prosecutor, the court sentenced Kozhevnikov to correctional labor for a period of 1 year and 6 months, with the retention of 20 % of the state’s wage.
The sentence did not enter into legal force.
