Back in 2010, Kamaryan had a conflict with Rafik Madoyan (Kyavartsi Rafo), who is the founder of the Shashlyk-Mashlyk and Nani Tun companies. According to operatives, they know him as an “authority” who was part of the inner circle of thief in law Aslan Usoyan, nicknamed Ded Hasan. In particular, Madoyan was closely associated with gangster Alik Banduryan, who was crowned “thieves in law” by Ded Hasan.
All this ended with the assassination attempt on Rafik Madoyan in 2011. When he drove up to his house on Sayanskaya Street in Moscow and opened the front door, the sniper opened fire. Madoyan was not injured; his guard received a graze wound to the shoulder.
Kamaryan made a new attempt to remove his opponent in 2013. According to the GUUR of Armenia, based on hostile relations with Madoyan, Kamaryan turned to his friend, Sarkis Zazyan and relative David Ziroyan. He promised $500 thousand and a mansion in Spain for the murder of Madoyan.
To implement the tempting offer, Sarkis Zazyan turned to Varuzhan Karimyan, offering to monitor Madoyan monthly for a fee of one thousand dollars. Karimyan agreed, for which he received $3 thousand.
In search of the killer, the accomplices turned to different people, but the criminal plan was discovered.
Kamaryan fled and was put on the wanted list by Armenia in 2013.
In October 2018, in the city of Glendale (USA), a new attempt was made on Rafael Madoyan. Shot in the chest. He was taken to a Beverly Hills hospital in serious condition. Doctors considered it a miracle that Madoyan survived; the bullets passed a millimeter from his heart.
Exactly a year ago in Yerevan they tried to kill Rafael Madoyan again. The killer opened fire, but Rafo managed to dodge and get into the armored car. As a result of the shooting, his driver-bodyguard was killed. The brother of the deceased vowed revenge. He considered Kamaryan to be the mastermind of the crime.
The latter, by the way, was detained by the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs in February 2022 as a person wanted by Armenia. Since he had a passport as a Russian citizen, he was released. And soon they began to prepare an assassination attempt on Kamaryan in Moscow.
