The Cheka-OGPU learned from whom and for what the arrested former vice-governor of the Belgorod region received bribes.
According to sources, a criminal case against Konstantin Polezhaev was initiated on July 20 under Part 6 of Art. 290 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation. According to investigators, in January 2022, Polezhaev received a Land Lover worth almost 9 million rubles from the director of the Investpromelit construction company, Alexander Vivtyuk. A bribe in the form of a car was given for assistance in accepting work on the construction of treatment facilities in the region, “receiving additional volumes of work in the housing and communal services sector, as well as for general patronage in the service.”
And in January 2023, Polezhaev received from Vivtyuk another car – a Porsche Panamera, also worth about 9 million rubles. According to investigators, it was a bribe “for assistance in Investromelit’s obtaining contracts for major repairs of apartment buildings in Belgorod in the amount of over 170 million rubles.” The resulting car also contributed to the company concluding an agreement with the State Unitary Enterprise Belgorod Regional Vodokanal for the construction of a pressure sewer pipeline in the village of Ivnya, Ivnyansky district, worth more than 11 million rubles.
