“Don’t go kill, don’t go die.”
From the protocol on the administrative offense it followed that Sichkareva 06/07/2023 from 16:00. 05 min. to 16 o’clock 10 min. was located at number 4 on Podezdny lane. in St. Petersburg, she was holding a poster with the inscription “Don’t go to kill, don’t go to die.” The police assured that this was done for the purpose of “expressing one’s opinion and forming the opinion of others about the participation of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation in the war, and not in the Northern Military District.”
The court indicated that from giving explanations to Sichkarev in accordance with Art. 51 of the Constitution of the Russian Federation refused, thus, the content of the inscription on the poster does not allow it to be correlated with the special military operation carried out in the DPR and LPR, and Sichkareva’s attitude towards the North Military District. “According to the presented materials, discrediting specifically the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, used to protect the interests of the Russian Federation and its citizens, by displaying a poster with the inscription: “Don’t go to kill, don’t go to die,” is not seen, since death and murder can be not only a consequence of armed conflict with the participation of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, while the inscription on the poster in this case is interpreted broadly and its true meaning is not confirmed by the case materials, and the conclusions of the official who compiled the protocol are conjectures,” the court decision says.
The court discontinued the case due to lack of evidence.
