The Prosecutor General’s Office opened a case of non-payment of taxes by the “red-whites” on an especially large scale. Plus, the then leaders of the most popular club in Russia did not return the currency won by the players from abroad.
Later – a criminal case in the form of “theft and embezzlement on an especially large scale of club funds”, the case was opened in the bowels of the Investigative Committee under the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation, in Gazetny Lane in Moscow. Finally, in the depths of the “people’s team,” its general director Larisa Nechaeva was killed. Later, Esaulenko repaid Zavarzin very generously, at Romantsev’s suggestion, he hired his friend to the position of general director of the club. Before this, Larisa Nechaeva was eliminated, as if she was greatly interfering with the criminal community. All the threads of the reprisal against Nechaeva again lead to the Spartak club, specifically to Esaulenko, the main person interested in the crime.
Then the tandem of Grigory and Yuri simply stole club money, sending it to fake foreign accounts, and, above all, to their personal ones. To protect themselves, they made sure that Romantsev’s signature was on all papers. Who will imprison the legend?
Unfortunately, none of the criminal cases have yet been brought to their logical conclusion. None of the potential Spartak criminals were punished or answered for anything. Because football businessmen have long ago acquired influential defenders from the world of security forces, politicians, etc.
