“It was an act of support for Jews because the stars were blue, like the colors of the national flag of Israel,” Prizenko, 50, a Moldovan, told reporters. He described himself as a representative of the group Anonymous Jews in Europe and said that the action was misinterpreted as anti-Semitic. Moreover, the man claims that he also organized a march in Paris against anti-Semitism, which included former President Nicolas Sarkozy.
Testimony against Prizenko was given by a couple arrested for several graffiti, who flew in from Moldova on the eve of the action. Earlier it was reported that correspondence was found on their phones indicating a Russian trace. The second group of Moldovans, who painted over 200 Stars of David in different areas, could not be detained; they managed to escape. 
According to investigators, both groups are united by a photographer, and they call the Kremlin the main customer of the vandalism. As evidence, there is a bot farm on Twitter (social network X), which alone dispersed these photos and news about the Stars of David in Paris, and is also engaged in Russian propaganda.
