Several sources of the Cheka-OGPU confirmed our information that the fall of the Pantsir S1 anti-aircraft missile system in Sochi was associated with the chassis, thanks to which the Pantsir is not stable and is ready to collapse at any moment. The interviewee explained the reasons for this:

“According to the technical specifications, the Pantsir was initially a convoy cover vehicle. Cars are coming, a possible enemy is detected, Pantsir reduces the speed to 20 km/h and conducts targeted fire while moving. It’s clear that there are different detection and firing systems, but that’s not the point. The system itself is good and quite effective.
The BAZ and KamAZ chassis were presented during sea trials. (MAZ, by the way, produced its chassis under license from BAZ).
During testing, the Pantsir was placed on a BAZ chassis, and it successfully conducted both machine-gun (cannon, to be precise) and rocket firing. On KAMAZ, during machine gun fire, the vehicle tilted and did not allow accurate fire; during rocket fire, it turned over.

Naturally, it was logical to choose an effective solution, but the powerful KamAZ lobby got involved and the technical specifications were rewritten. Now, when a threat was detected, the vehicle had to stop, set up supports, and only then begin firing. Judging by the video from Sochi, huge questions remain about the stability of the Pantsir.
