A big scandal with the hockey players of Tolpara, the youth team of the Ufa Salavat Yulaev, was hushed up. The entire team was caught using a prohibited drug, but its players, every single one, received an amnesty. The perpetrators, those who supplied Tolpar with illegal pills and forced young people to use them, were not punished either. Several clubs participating in the KHL playoffs are now under suspicion of doping. First of all, this is the current champion, CSKA. In the regular season, the Moscow army team took sixth place in the Western Conference, playing neither shaky nor weak. But in the first match of the playoffs they beat Yaroslavl’s Lokomotiv outright – 4:0. 
There are many questions for Torpedo. After the New Year, out of 24 regular season games, Nizhny Novgorod won only 7 – this percentage of victories is more typical of KHL outsiders. But in the playoffs, in the first match, Torpedo confidently defeated SKA in St. Petersburg, and in the second game of the series they imposed fierce resistance on their powerful opponent. Magic, nothing less. We are also watching other teams closely; there will be a lot of surprises and scandals related to doping.
