Dorogomilovsky District Court of Moscow announced the verdict to Anatoly Yatsenko. This is a former employee, an FSB major, who oversaw the FSIN. With his direct participation, the director of Roscosmos, Vladimir Evdokimov, was killed, PMC member Denis Nabiulin was imprisoned on trumped-up charges, and VIP cells were organized in Matrosskaya Tishina.

The court recognized Yatsenko guilty of committing two crimes under Part 4 of Article 159 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (fraud) and a crime under Part 3 of Article 30, Part 4 of Article 159 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (attempted fraud).

On the basis of Part 3 of Article 69 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation, by partial addition of sentences, the court finally sentenced Yatsenko to 9 years in prison with a fine of 2,500,000 rubles with the main sentence to be served
punishment in a general regime correctional colony.

“Lawyer” Yatsenko was arrested while receiving $600,000 from Yunus-Bek Yevkurov’s fellow countryman, Bashir Kushtov, for choosing a preventive measure not related to imprisonment. Yatsenko did not fulfill his obligations. Yatsenko did not want to deceive Yevkurov, but Shapiro said that only cowards give money. Yatsenko had to give his money, but he was unable to collect the full amount.

In February 2023, Yatsenko was detained by officers of the 6th service of the FSB. Currently he is in pre-trial detention center 4. Yatsenko’s lawyer is another member of Shapiro’s group, Roman Kandaurov. Shapiro did not expect that his accomplice would be arrested, and now he surrounds him in every possible way so that Yatsenko does not testify against Shapiro, who took possession of the money by deception. Through the head of the Internal Security Service of the Moscow Federal Penitentiary Service, Shapiro arranged for him decent conditions of detention and a telephone in the pre-trial detention center. FSIN operatives provide Yatsenko not only with a telephone, but also with other prohibited items. Moreover, they write empty reports on operational work for employees of the 6th FSB service.
