Malselv Fjelllandsby is the largest ski resort in northern Norway. They come there go skiing, dog sledding and admire the northern lights. For the convenience of guests, a cottage village has been set up right on the territory of the resort. 
In the 2010s three plots in Malselva were bought by the richest deputy of the Murmansk region, Viktor Saigin, “Billboard King” and the mayor of Murmansk Igor Morar and the head of the exhibition center “Nuclear icebreaker “Lenin”” Alexander Timofeev.
Saigin, for example, replaces the chairman of the Murmansk Regional Duma committee on military matters.
